Easter Treat Basket

I made a little Easter Treat Basket. I designed the basket on the Gypsy. Then used a Martha Stewart Punch to decorate the outside.

Card Size - 5" x 5"
Take a 10" x 5" Piece of paper Score in Half. The front of the card score at 2-1/2" and fold.
Cricut Cartridge -
Create A Critter - Duck And Grass - Duck Cut at 3-1/2" relative size, Grass Cut at 1-1/2" relative size.

Todays Snow Storm

I took some pictures of the snow storm where having today. Look at the size of these snowflakes.
I have never seen snow flakes this big before. This is what the song must of meant "It's A Marshmallow World In the Winter". It really does look like Marshmallows on the ground. We're having thunder too.
It's pretty but I want Spring!

Spring Luminary

I have always been fascinated with the luminaries people have been making.
So I thought I would give it a try. Here's my first Spring Luminary designed on my Gypsy.
I had a lot of fun designing it and putting it together. I think I'm going to try some more. :)

Where's Spring????

I'm sitting here in the middle of a blizzard wondering what happened to Spring? I had to take the pictures through the screen on the door. Because the door is frozen shut. Ugh! Oh well, I guess Mother Nature had other ideas for us today. In the mean time I'm going to craft. Hopefully we won't lose power too.

Play Time - Play Date Card

I'm work-in-progress with learning coloring techniques. I am finding that I Love working with watercolor crayons when coloring images. I will be getting watercolor pencils to see how I like them as well. I think they will give me some new techniques to try. I loved watercolor painting  back when I was 13yrs. old. I at the time was getting pretty good for that age. The teacher featured several pieces I had done in the classroom. Which gave me all the more encouragement to get even better. I do make my own watercolor background papers also and will post some of my scrapbook pages I did before I ever owned a Cricut.
 I'm not competely new to working with watercolors. But coloring stamped images is new territory for me.
I intentionally went outside the lines in coloring this image to create shadows and interest for the image.
When I create I like to create freely. I don't always follow the expected rules. I want my art or coloring to stretch the rules by working outside the constrictions of the lines of stamped images. I think it adds character, personal style and interest to the stamped images.
Your ideas on coloring may differ from mine. Thats ok! That is what defines our own personal styles when creating our Art for our projects.

Warm Winter Wishes Card

This is my first time Ever to color in a Stamped Image! Well, maybe the 2nd I'm not sure. LOL
 This isn't something I have really been into. But I do collect stamps. So How did I do? 
Inlight of our Newly fallen snow here I got that warm fuzzy wintery feeling.
