Decorated Mason jars For FallPlease read the Instructions below:
You place the vinyl on the outside of the jar.
You paint your jar. Letting the paint dry for each layer. Then when the jar is dry add varnish. Letting the varnish dry between each layer.
Remove vinyl after the jar has dried completely.
I used an X-acto knife to cut around the vinyl shape then peeling it off the jar.
I used Waverly Chalk Paint. Then sealed it with Waverly clear matte varnish.
The paints and varnish can be purchased at Walmart.
2 different techniques were used with each jar. The jar with the maple leaf was painted with a solid color paint. The jar with the acorn I applied several layers of paint to distress it. Giving it a more woodsy feel to it. I used the dry brush technique to apply 3 different colors of paint onto the jar with the acorn.
The candles are battery operated. I'm in the process of making tags and die cuts to hang on the jars.

My daughter bought me a couple of Darcie Craft Wood Frames with chicken wire. I decorated my first one today. I wanted make something to do with summer on one frame. This is what I came up with. All the images were printed to my laser printer then cut out in Cricut Design Space. Then I foiled them with my Anna Griffin Minc. I found the cutest little clothes pins in the craft section at Walmart.
This is how it turned out! I love it!!
I used the Anna Griffins Garden Cards and Embellishments digital cartridge images in Cricut Design Space software.
I set the file to print to my laser printer then cut on the Cricut Explore.
I used gold Minc Foil for the leaves and roses. I used Minc rose foil for the butterfly.Pictured below is what the file looks like in Cricut Design Space.
I foiled Anna Griffin Butterfly in Rose Foil.
The butterfly was part of an auto ship from HSN of Anna Griffin's Minc die cuts to foil.
I printed the word Love on my laser printer and foiled it with Rose foil.
I stamped using Memory Box Fluttering Stamp and IndigoBlu Flitter Glu. After letting the glue set for a short time I foiled the image in Rose foil. I colored some of the butterflies with the Wine colored Cricut pen.
The Wine Cricut pen matches the Rose Foil perfectly. It takes a lot practice to perfect this technique. The trick is the set time of the glue to dry and knowing when to lift the foil off.
I designed the file in Cricut Design Space design software.
I printed the design out on my laser printer.
I then cut the design out using the Cricut Explore machine.
Next I foiled the glass with the Minc machine.
I thought arrow washi tape was a nice touch for the invite sending the message that the party is this way.
This was the last challenge I did yesterday for NSD (National Scrapbooking Day).
The challenge was to make a luminary. This is what I came up with for the challenge.
I am going to try to do more challenges today.
Cricut Cartridge - Anna Griffin Bridal Soiree's - Flower Bag #MC75C
Cricut Cartridge - Fancy Frames - Image #M2E3AE - Flourish FrameCricut Cartridge - Close To My Heart Artbooking Font
If you own these cartridges you can use my cut file in Cricut Design Space to make your own.
I set the Cricut Explore dial on custom setting and chose intricate cut. I glued the panel to the vellum. Then I glued the panel to the front of the bag.
I was able to get another challenge done for National Scrapbook Day today!!
I am so excited I have accomplished another challenge.
This challenge was to make something with tags.
I welded a princess crown on a tag found in Cricut Design Space.
Cricut Cartridge - Shall We Dance - Crown
Cricut Cartridge - Phrases - Tag
Flowers were punched with a Martha Stewart Punch
I used Princess Project Life Cards
The Birds were Jolee's Dimensional Stickers
For my scrapbooks I want to do 1 regular layout and then one pocket page layout. This way I can catch up on my scrapbooks and enjoy both forms of scrapbooking. I love the this came together.
Make A Splash Layout Happy National Scrapbook Day!!
We are having a celebration of National Scrapbook Day on the Cricut Circle Message Board.
For my first challenge we were to make a layout using the negative cut of a die cut. Here is my take on it. I am really happy with this layout.
Cricut Cartridge - 3 Birds On Parade - Make A Splash Title - Width 1.25"
I purchased the Teresa Buddy Bags By Totally Tiffany. While I was looking for things to put in it. I came up with the idea of storing my EK Success Mini Punches in there. It fits 13 punches of the new style punch.
It can also be used for Storing Martha Stewart 0.37 Glitter
You can store the .5 oz of Stickles Glue Glitter.
The 1 fl. oz. bottles of Stickles are too big for the Teresa Buddy Bag
This also works for some brands of Nail Polish.
This bag also works nice for the re-inkers for your stamp pads.
Make A Gate Fold Card With Cricut Design Space And Anna Griffin Embossing
Anna Griffin Gate Fold Cards in Cricut Design Space design software. The cards in Cricut Design Space coordinate with her Embossing folders which were purchased at HSN.
This card was made with the Ribbon Flower Anna Griffin Card and coordinating embossing folder.
I used Martha Stewart glitter pens to enhance the embossing on the card.
My Anna Griffin Mix and Match Embossing Folders arrived!
I put the sentiments in 3"x3" zip lock bags. ... I labeled each zip lock bag with the name of the Sentiment was. I labeled the folders sleeves with the name of the Anna Griffin folder.
I made a Birthday Card for my mother with the Anna Griffin Mix and Match embossing folder. The rose, butterfly and ribbon are from another Anna Griffin card kit. I used a gold leafing pen to bring out the embossed Laurel Emblem. I really enjoy the Anna Griffin mix and match folders. Painting the raised portion of the embossing is very relaxing. I like the look of it.
